Moleta Munro are building a contemporary house designed by award-winning architects Dualchas on the Isle of Skye.
Located at Skinidin on the shores of Loch Dunvegan, and in the lee of Macleod's Table, it will be an ideal base for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. It is only a few minutes walk from the famous Three Chimneys restaurant, arguably one of the finest restaurants in Scotland.
The house will be an oasis of style and will benefit from many modern design features including under floor heating, open-plan ground floor, high insulation glazing and a larch clad exterior that will, over a number of years, assist the property in blending into the countryside.
The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a utility room and a large open plan ground floor with interconnecting kitchen, dining and living room areas. In addition to the stunning panoramic views across the loch from the open glazed areas, the house will feature a wood-burning stove to ensure the elements are always kept at bay. Moleta Munro will be working hard during early 2008 to guarantee that the house is an elegant and luxurious retreat with inspiring, contemporary furniture and home accessories.
The house will be complete during May 2008 and is available to rent for holidays. Please contact Wilderness Cottages for further details, including availability and rates.
