GUBI

The Pedrera collection is a series of lamps by GUBI, all with a cylindrical shade made of perforated metal. Some of the lamps were designed by Barba Corsini, others in association with his protegé, Joaquim Ruiz Millet. One lamp, the ANA pendant, was designed by Ruiz Millet as a tribute to Corsini.

Barba Corsini was a leading functionalist architect and he realised his contemporary vision in 1955 through his renovation of the loft space of Gaudi’s famous building La Pedrera in Barcelona. He also designed the furnishings and light fittings to complete the overall architectural experience of the space. The result was the Pedrera collection and the original design from 1955 was re-edited by Jq. Ruiz Millet in 1991. The Pedrera lamps are both modern and classic.

The PD2 Pedrera Floor lamp is available in matt black and matt white.
