Carl Hansen

Among the giants of Danish Modern furniture design, Hans J. Wegner is often described as “master of the chair”. He created a number of his most iconic models specifically for Carl Hansen & Son, including the legendary Carl Hansen CH 24, or Wishbone Chair.

The Carl Hansen CH24 Wishbone chair was designed  in 1949 and produced without interruption since 1950. A light, sculptural dining chair that is also suitable for relaxed sitting away from the table. Available in Danish hardwoods (oak, beech, ash, maple) as well North American hardwoods (walnut, cherry) in a variety of finishes (soap, oil, lacquer, paint). The Carl Hansen CH 24 hand-woven in paper cord (unbleached/natural or black). Steam-bent, gently rounded top-piece provides freedom of movement and generous comfort.
