The De La Warr Pavilion Chair was initially commissioned by the newly renovated De La Warr Pavilion as a piece of furniture that would represent the best contemporary design whilst remaining sympathetic to the aesthetic of the iconic 1930s building. The distinctive skid leg of this chair was developed as a response to the observation that most chairs, are often viewed from the back. This element became the most engaging faeture of the much - revered De La Warr Pavilion Chair, which is constracted from pressure die cast aluminium. The De La Warr Pavilion Chair is available as non-upholstered. For an upholstered seat in a selection of fabric and leather options please contact us with your request.
